The sporting world featured more controversy than accomplishments with scandal's hitting the Olympics and FIFA while the world of entertainment wallowed in sexual harassment scandals and awards ceremonies. Cyber criminals fell and new technologies grew while the beautiful people strutted along cat walks for all to see.
